Today I went to see Sabrina. On my way there, I saw Evan Grant. So I said hi and when I was coming back, he stopped me and we talked for a minute. Then I went to the center of town with Lacey. We saw him there and we talked for a couple of minutes. Lacey said I should like him because he talks to me at least, more than Sam. I don't really know. 10:30

Thursday, March 27, 1986

Today was Good Friday so we didn't have any school. It was also boring as hell, because Mom and Dad went to work, leaving me to babysit Becky for the whole day. Miami Vice wasn't on today, because of a movie (bummer!), so we watched National Lampoons Vacation. Fun, huh? Yeah, well, so was today. 11:03

Wednesday, March 26, 1986

Today was OK, except for the fact that I had a quiz in History, a test in Algebra, a quiz in English, and a test in French. Fortunately there was no quiz in I.P.S. but I'm failing that class anyway! In the library we (Lacey, Me) were talking to Fabian Abbatiello. He was making us laugh so much, Mrs. Cabanela almost had to split us up. Then Dahlia, Lacey and me went to see this movie April Fools Day. It was OK, anything but scary. Dahlia and Lacey were the only two in the theater that were screaming! Tuesday, March 25, 1986

Today was OK. Boring, but OK. After school I went to Kelsey's house and we were supposed to go to the center of town but Kelsey's mom didn't get home until 3:30. I wanted to meet Dahlia at the center at 2:30 so I told her to call me at Kelsey's house. Kelsey took the phone off the hook and stuck the receiver in a pillowcase (HMM!). We also had a concert today (yeah-rah) and ohmigod the audience actually LIKED Spectrum! I was in total shock as you might know because it is a terribly horrid song. Well, gotta go! 10:06

Monday, March 24, 1986

Today was boring. 1st period to 4th period was boring, and 5th period to 8th period was none too better. After school was OK. Nadine and Kelsey came over for a while and then I made dinner and I went to the rehearsal for Pippin. It was boring. I am in Ensemble and we dance and sing. What we did was have the people who actually talk read off their parts. Thrill, eh? Ya know it! Well, gots to chill, tah! 9:42

Sunday, March 23, 1986

Today was OK. BUT in band, I was walking behind Sam, and he couldn't get down the stairs because Jonah was blocking the end. So when he turned around to go around the stairs, he said "Hi Daphne." I was so shocked, all I could say was "hi". God, I <3 the way he says my name! I'm serious! We also had a night rehearsal, and Billy poked me in the butt with a trumpet stand. BUT, other than that, today was OK. 10:06

Saturday, March 22, 1986

Today was OK. Me and Lacey went to the next town over to spend the day. I bought a tie, hairspray and Vaseline. Then, we went home. After dinner, I went next door for a while. We browsed through some magazines and had a few good laughs. Then I saw the Miami Vice movie on TV. Really cool! 10:57

Friday, March 21, 1986

Today was pretty fun. Me and Kelsey went to a car wash for a couple of hours for the high school. I got tremendously cold, so me and Laura Hable got the pleasure of sticking flyers into peoples windshields. After that, me, mom and Becky went to the mall to shop. I got this cool shirt. Becky walked out with more than I did and I was upset. :)
Then I went babysitting. Boooring! That's because everyone was at the basketball game (ick!). Well, signing off now. 11:19

Thursday, March 20, 1986

Today was OK. I was in kind of a spazzy mood (I don't know why). And I had this big giant green bracelet on that everybody loved. In I.P.S. Vance came up to me and mussed up the back of my head and when I said "Why do you do that all the time?" He leaned over and whispered (It was quite loud) "Because I love you". I was like RIGHT! But I didn't say anything. And I guess that was all except I saw Miami Vice! 11:11

Today was nothing special. Kendra Yaeger, Callie, and Maeve said to me today that Sam is giving up on girls and that he doesn't like them anymore. I was like "what!" But then I didn't say anything. Then we (the Girl Scouts) went on this yay-rah tour of Mt. Sinai Hospital. FUN. When I got home I changed my room around. Today is the first day of spring ya know. 9:34

HI! TODAY WAS LIKE TOTALLY AWESOME! Well, school was dull like always (you know that), except that we had this assembly where this quintet taught us about instruments. (that made it even more dull). But then after school, Kelsey and Nadine came over and later Lacey and we had some definite crazy fun. Then me and Kelsey had to go to a night rehearsal with MR. FUTSCH. Neat-o. But then I found out that I was picked for PIPPIN! Yeah! 9:46

Monday, March 17, 1986

Today is St. Patrick's Day (definite wow right!). Today went by so fast I barely remember it! (Not that there's anything worth remembering). Butstill. I hung up some pictures of Bermuda because on Sunday they had a feature on it, so I clipped it out. And now it is hanging on my wall. Neat, huh? Miami is on the other side of my mirror - my two dream places! Definite, huh. 9:36

Sunday, March 16, 1986

Today was dull. I didn't do anything. Mom said I was grounded for today if I didn't get The Breakfast Club back, so I finally got it back from Kelsey. Then I was randomly at my house and next door at Lacey's. Total bore today. God I hate Sundays. I think the most exciting thing I did today was to call a radio station and request a song. I hate to tell you but that's Sunday for ya! 9:57

Saturday, March 15, 1986

Today was kinda fun. First, I went to music lessons and then I went to mom's work. I left there and went to Something Special and put a few things on hold. Then I went to Dress Barn and got my Easter outfit. It's a very colorful skirt with a matching shirt and a pink shirt to go under that. I also bought some film for my camera at Caldor and I went into Casual Male. Oh no those clothes were SO cool! You know if I only had some money! 10:26

Friday, March 14, 1986

Today was OK. I'm getting better at ignoring guys but I think that Sam thinks that if girls ignore him - they've lost interest! GOD, there's got to be SOME way! Lacey wasn't in school today. Poor sicky poo. But Nadine and her came over today after school. Speaking of Nadine, she and David did meet after school and Dahlia said that he went down her pants but all she did was kiss him. One-der-ful, eh! Also talked a little to Vance. Kind of funny - we ranked on Nadine. 11:04

Thursday, March 13, 1986

Today was so depressing. Nadine was in our lunch wave today and (I don't know how she found out) but she started yelling "Vance goosed Daphne!" and wouldn't stop. So I began to ignore her and finally she apologized (after everyone found out). Then Lacey went home sick and I went to this audition for the play "Pippin". I know I didn't make it - I was so horrible - because you see, it is a musical and I CAN NOT sing! 9:44

Wednesday, March 12, 1986

Today in band, I tried what dad said about ignoring guys to get their attention. So I tried it on Sam and I was so siked because I did it so well, Kelsey was all like "Well, what did he say to you?" And I felt crushed because then I realized that he didn't even care. Damn. Then in the library,  Dexter was all trying to get Lacey's attention by saying how he wants her body and Vance went and winked at me while asking for a pen. Talk about massive weirdness to-day! 9:28

Sam has been very indifferent to me lately. Dad says that the thing that gets male ego going is if a girl ignores all the guys. Speaking of male ego, today in Science Vance definitely had his going because when I walked by him, he sort of grabbed at my butt. And when I turned around and hit his arm (I kinda missed), Sabrina goes "Ohmigod Vance!". And then he had water all over his hands and he goes "Can I wipe my hands all over your body?" I was like "NO! Go away." But I don't know man! 10:05

Monday, March 10, 1986

Today was mom's birthday. During school, not much happened. After school though, I had a detention for writing out note cards for 96 WTIC FM's contest during Algebra. So the teacher waits until my bus is good and gone and says "OK Daphne you can go." I was so pissed! And I was not about to wait an hour for the late bus, so I began to walk home (ed. note: My house was 2 1/2 miles from the school) . Just my luck, when I wasn't more than 100 feet from the beginning of (the longest road) when Mr. Burns pulls up and asks if I need a ride! 10:17

Today we went to (yay-rah) church. After that, we went to CVS and I got some lip gloss. Then I went to Lacey and Nadine's house and we colored in her coloring book. :) Then Lacey went babysitting and we decided to go with her. We (Nadine and me) went to the center of town and we got food because those people had absolutely nothing. Their house was so god-awful. What a mess! Then after that I went next door again and we did some more coloring. :) And that was all! 9:47
