Today I said hi to Sam in the hall but he didn't say anything back. He was just staring at Nadine's new perm. Oh well. Then I stayed after school. I played softball with Lacey and Nadine for a while. Then me and Lacey left (Nadine wanted to keep on practicing) and we went to the center of town. I got a purse, Mom's present, paper and eye shadow. When we were going to the library these Puerto Rican boys were whistling at us and following us around. Total gross-out! 10:10
I was a teenager during the years 1984-1989. I lived in New England at this time. I also kept a diary. You know how people will describe teenagers and say stuff like "oh they are so sophisticated for their age!" As you will see, this never applied to me. I was a massive wallflower. A dorky, un-hip, living-in-a-bubble child of the 80's. In other words, a teenage dumbass.
