Well today nothing really happened except Maddie went to work and me and Kelsey dressed up like real gays with these funky costumes. Later Sabrina came over and we had these obscene phone calls (WE did them). It was so funny! We were calling up people and saying “Do you have a dick?” and “Did you know your husband has a pussy?” And really OBSCENE things like that. Well, that’s really all!

Friday, November 2, 1984 (age 13)
Oh the dance was SO excellent! The only thing was that Tyler didn’t come (shit!)
Because mom, dad, and Becky went to Cape Cod, Maddie came over with her Dodge Daytona and Kelsey came. She (Maddie) drove us to the dance (I just LOVE that car!) When we got home - Lacey’s mom had to drive us home - Maddie went out on a date - me and Kelsey stayed up until 1:00! During the night, Kelsey had a charley-horse and woke me up. But it was a really fun day!

Thursday, November 1, 1984 (age 13)
Oh the Daryl Hall and John Oates concert was SO great! Excepting that we went at 7:30 and got back at 11:30. I am so dead at the moment but still shall tell you about it. At first there were these ridiculously stupid dudes (ed. note: opening act Xavion) who almost made me retch. Seriously! Oh the concert was so good. I got a tee-shirt and a program. I also got a sore throat , bags under my eyes from lack of sleep, and am still deaf because of the immense ringing in my ears. I’m gone, bye!

Halloween was a real BLAST. It started out fun, but - well, I’ll start from the beginning. Kelsey and I were out having a grand old time when Nick comes up and starts to - fool around - as I should say it. So I went home, and went with Nadine and Dahlia. So they follow us. They soon stopped though, because Dahlia and Neil got suckered in and started hanging with them. Dahlia complained that her feet hurt SO bad she could barely take another step. Next thing we know, Dahlia and Nick WALKED Kelsey home. Now tell me if that wasn’t low enough.

Today Ms. Decker moved Tyler to the seat directly behind me! Sike! Also, Sabrina says that Wendy said that Tyler has been flirting excessively with me, but because I am so shy I don’t know it. She’s going to ask him if he likes me tomorrow - oh I do hope he does!
In catechism, Nolan Iafallo and Tyler were having this ranking thing. Nolan said Tyler is like a bus - 10 cents and you’re on! Oh I was rolling! Oh my god! I loaned him 50 cents! That means I get FIVE rides!!!

Oh today was so boring! The only good thing was in Science when I said to Tyler “Can I use your pencil?” And he goes “Why?” and I said “Because I left mine in my locker”. So he goes - “Sure but then I don’t have to pay the money back I owe you.” So I go “Forget it” and went to go and look for one in my bag. So he goes “I’m just kidding, here.” So after he gives it to me, he goes “Well, now I don’t pay the money back.” And I said “You wish” so he goes “No sir”.
Sometimes he can be so confusing!

Did I tell you that Tyler’s birthday is May 27? Well, in case I didn’t, there it is.
Well, I went to Weathervane today and I got a new skirt for the dance. It’s very nice. Then me, Lacey, Neil and Nadine all went out for a walk. Me and Nadine duffed Lacey and Neil but they didn’t seem to care too much. So while we’re walking, Nadine gets these bad vibes from this guy and starts talking about machetes and getting herself all scared. So that’s all, really. See you tomorrow!

Saturday, October 27, 1984 (age 13)
Today we (Lacey and I) went to this haunted house. Dale was there, but other than that it was real retarded. I was hoping to see Ken Sherman too! (ed note: Tyler’s older brother) Neil and Nick both said he was there and we missed him! Shit, I DID see him once, but I forgot what he looked like.
There was one part in the house though - this “fluorescent” room. It turned my sneakers and Lacey’s shirt a glowing white! It was so tough. But Lacey said when I smiled, my teeth lit up! Oh it really was fun! Can’t wait for Halloween though!

In Science, today was a totally different day from what usually goes on. Tyler sat at my table! Mrs. Culver moved Omar, and put Dan and Tyler at my table. Oh I am so spazzed! I mean take a serious one totally.
Next week is going to be SO fun. Oct. 31 - Halloween! Party time! November 1 - Hall & Oates concert! November 2 - Dance! November 3 and 4 - Kelsey staying over and Maddie too! Oh you KNOW I am going to be so spazzed those 4 days. SERIOUSLY. Well, gots to be crusin’, bye!

Today is Wednesday. And absolutely boring. (Well, it’s Nick’s birthday, but that don’t count).
Nadine, Neil and I had a soccer pass and one time Neil kicked it and it hit Becky smack in the nose! Well, as you know she was crying, but she was faking - all she wanted was sympathy. (That was the highlight of the day folks)
Oh we went out to dinner too. Whoopie shit, take a sike and I’m going so I can cruise! Bye!

I’m giving up an Tyler - he hates me and I really don’t blame him. Oh, why? I love him so much and he can’t stand me. Why does this always happen to me? It’s just not fair. I should be shot. Check this one out will ya? Tyler comes in Math and starts going after Tom. But Tom won’t hear of it. So Tyler comes over to me and goes “Hey, lemme tell you something”. GOD Mom hates me so much - I’m a little slave! First, she makes me rake the whole front yard (Nadine helped). Then, when I vacuumed before, a missed a tiny little spot and she makes me vacuum the whole house! And Becky, she might as well be under a tree sipping iced tea while I bust my damn back picking up after her and mom! She hates my fucking guts and I can’t do a damn thing about it. Maybe if I run away…

Oh today was such a mixed-up day! I went to Lacey’s soccer game, but didn’t pay much attention to it - I was too busy watching Tyler. Then I went over to Kelsey’s for about 10 minutes just to say “hi”. THEN I almost burned dinner and had to sit at the table while explaining to Aunt Fay that dad was in Ohio and wouldn’t be back until Thursday.
No one will confess to taking my chain, Nick slammed into my back tire and warped it - he’s fixing it now -
I swear if anything else goes wrong I’ll have a nervous breakdown! (Tyler helped too)
P.S. Saw Mr. Toole playing football with Tyler - how he can run! Hee hee.

What is going on in Science? First, Tyler goes “Hi”, then “Lacey, how am I gonna go along with this?” He was sticking up for me (really!) from Omar - Omar’s such a stuck up gay! Then through the whole period all I hear is “Lacey, don’t tell her what I told you”. Then the notes! Lacey said that one asked if he liked me (with no reply) and I practically had to DRAG the answers out of her - 4 hours after school ended! Check this one out - this MAY happen. On the weekend of November 2 we were supposed to go to Cape Cod. But that’s the day of our dance, so mom says “You figure something out and I’ll discuss it with your father”. Well, I was thinking of getting to get Maddie over here (with her Plymouth Laser!) for the weekend AND Kelsey too! Isn’t that excellent!

Guess what! I’ll tell you this! In 3rd period, Tyler goes “let me see your pin”. In 4th he ran into me and goes “oh my, my, I’m SO sorry.” It’s like sure, sure. But it was 7th that really got me. He was doing something to Lacey and when I asked her she goes “Well, he did it to ME I just can’t imagine WHY he didn’t do it to you.” Ooooh that gets me SO jealous it isn’t even funny!

Tuesday, October 16, 1984 (age 13)
Today I had probably the best personality I ever had in YEARS. I tried so hard to overcome my shyness with Tyler and it really kind of worked.
I had this dream one night that I was on a cruise ship with Kelsey. Then we saw this little rowboat just floating in the ocean. We hauled it up and what do you know Tyler and Nick were in there! We did not know them yet but Kelsey took a fancy to Nick and I to Tyler. They hadn’t eaten for days and were either unconscious or asleep. We took them in and a month later we had a double wedding!

OH MY GOD, Tyler wasn’t here today! And I got all nice’d up for him too.
Well, Lacey is mad at me STILL from Friday, when I pulled the chair from under her, blah, blah, blah.
Oh man! I want to read “Devil in Connecticut” AGAIN. Last night, after I wrote in here, I listened to this radio show. They were talking about the book and Amityville Horror. They had Ed and Lorraine Warren on there too! They got me so scared I didn’t fall asleep until 12:30! Hope I can tonight!

Today is my good personality day. I’m feeling quite good about myself.
Mom’s painting her bedroom green. It’s like Make Me Barf.
This movie I watched - wow it was so funky! It was called “Nightmares” and it had around 5 or 6 little stories in it. It really freaked me out.
In Science it was “good personality” day. Tomorrow is “good face” day. And it will keep going in that list (next day it will be good clothes and after that it will be good body). I wonder if I can keep up with this!

Well isn’t this really great. I tell Sabrina not to ask Tyler if he likes me, and she goes and does it anyway! She claims that he said I needed 4 things done to me so I’d be suitable for HIS TASTE. 1) a new body 2) new clothes 3) new face 4) new personality. Well, I’m only giving him half the deal. I cant get a new face. I’m NOT getting new clothes. So I am going to do the two hardest ones. Wish me luck!

Guess what! Ivy and Tyler aren’t going out anymore! Oh sike! Ooops! I told Sabrina to ask Tyler if he’d go out with me. But I shouldn’t have been so sudden. If what Sabrina told me is true, Ivy duffed HIM. Maybe that explains him being so depressed these last few days. Oh well anyway he’s probably still thinking of her. I should wait a few days, right? Sabrina says to jump in at any opening. Oh I am so confused, help!

Today in Science, Matt Chase and Tyler were talking, so Mrs. Culver told Matt to sit in the seat that was maybe 2 ft away from me. Matt said “Aww, Mrs. Culver” like that but then Tyler said “Matt doesn’t want to sit there, I’ll go.” I almost flipped! Then when Mrs. Culver said “Crowd around, so you can all see this experiment”, he always stood next to me! Now I’ve got 3rd and 4th doubts on Ivy. Sweet dreams Ivy!
Well, to the boring stuff, we made “pheasant feather wreaths” in Girl Scouts. Take a serious sike! (ed note: my version of the word “psych”)

Today, Tyler was nice to me again. In band we marched down Middle Road and there were kids out for gym! I was so embarrassed, thinking, what if Nick or Kevin were out there? Wow, if I am going on like this now, think of it in the parade!
Then today Nick and Kelsey had a fight, Nick got Kelsey to crying, and every time that happens I’M always there! Talk about the wrong place at the wrong time. There was nothing I could do naturally. But I was thinking…I may not be the Cover Girl in school but I care for anybody’s feelings more than anyone I know! I feel kind of flattered when everyone says I’m so damn nice and that I have such a good personality. No, I am not vain or conceited, but those are my best qualities, yessiree!

Well, today was tough. First off, Tyler COMPLIMENTED me on my earrings! He was so nice I could have cried.
Ivy’s on crutches, I really feel sorry for her!
In catechism me and Kelsey ranked on Kerrie Tighe. She’s so sleazy! Tyler was also nice to me there. We saw Oliver Tobel. At first we didn’t know who he was and we were ranking, but then he came over! He’s a cute dude. If you know what I mean. Nadine is (might be) going to catechism too. Oh joy. Well, better go!

In catechism me and Kelsey ranked on Kerrie Tighe. She’s so sleazy! Tyler was also nice to me there. We saw Oliver Tobel. At first we didn’t know who he was and we were ranking, but then he came over! He’s a cute dude. If you know what I mean. Nadine is (might be) going to catechism too. Oh joy. Well, better go!

Monday, October 8, 1984 (age 13)
Nadine - oh jeez how could she do this to me? We went out for a walk around the block and then when we got to Dale’s house she stood there as if thinking about something. And then Dale came out and started walking with us! We went twice (ed note: around the block) and every minute I wanted to go home. When he FINALLY said it was time for him to go in, I coulda KILLED Nadine. I was so embarrassed I thought I was gonna faint. And then she’s telling me how much he means to her. Oh Jeez!

Sunday, October 7, 1984 (age 13)
Weekends are so ridiculously boring I can’t stand just writing nothing. But some little tidbits did occur so - go to it!
Kelsey and Nadine came over and we read from our naughty joke books. Then I went over to Nadine’s after we walked Kelsey home, and me, Nadine, Nick, and once-in-a-while Lacey came out. We played “air” instruments from the songs on the radio.
See I told you today was boring! I’m only half way through the page! Well, I better go! Love, Me

Saturday, October 6, 1984 (age 13)
Today was a real boring day. So I’ll tell you the boring shit, OK? Well, Lacey’s soccer game was cancelled. I don’t know why. And then Mom comes in and asks who do I like now? And Nadine is the one who goes and says Tyler. Jeez! I’m trying to keep that fact away from them! And then Nadine tells Becky (ed note: my little sister) where the little stuffed animal I so well hid is. And Nate Quan was having a party. He invited everyone except Kelsey and me! And he’s known us longer than them (well, he’s got a crush on Lacey, so maybe that’s why he invited her). Obviously, no one likes Nadine! Hee Ha no sir!!!!

Friday, October 5, 1984 (age 13)
First off, Tyler was so nice to me today - I'm starting to wonder about Ivy. 2nd - when me and Lacey went for a walk, she said that Sabrina said that if Tyler wasn't going with Ivy he'd ask me out (wonder wonder!). 3rd - when me and Nadine went for a walk she saw Dale go into some car with 2 other girls! And just one measly hello to Nadine! Man, she was gone, crying like a son-of-a-bitch, so we went to Kelsey's but couldn't do nothin', so she's pissed off at the dude.
I'm wondering still about Tyler...

Thursday, October 4, 1984 (age 13)
Today Nadine messed up my hair so bad! She was trying to curl it so it'd look not as flat as it was now. So she was experimenting and then she pulled all of my hair over to one side and tryed that. When I straightened up, it all stuck up! I grabbed a towel, threw it over my head and ran into the bathroom to wet it down. What an experience!
(I have to cut short again because my days are so boring)
