Nadine - oh jeez how could she do this to me? We went out for a walk around the block and then when we got to Dale’s house she stood there as if thinking about something. And then Dale came out and started walking with us! We went twice (ed note: around the block) and every minute I wanted to go home. When he FINALLY said it was time for him to go in, I coulda KILLED Nadine. I was so embarrassed I thought I was gonna faint. And then she’s telling me how much he means to her. Oh Jeez!

Monday, October 8, 1984 (age 13)
Nadine - oh jeez how could she do this to me? We went out for a walk around the block and then when we got to Dale’s house she stood there as if thinking about something. And then Dale came out and started walking with us! We went twice (ed note: around the block) and every minute I wanted to go home.
